Contracting
Please contact us at info@ljist.com with your inquiry. Our team will follow up with you within 2 business days (Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Pacific).
Hosting means hosting a private workshop for your organization or group (up to 32 participants).
Co-Hosts contract for 60% of the workshop fee and 50% of the spaces (16), while you and LJIST advertise the remaining slots for public registration.
Review our Signature Program Host | Co-Host | Attend Comparison document for more information and guidance on which option is right for your group.
Please note, co-hosting is only available for Signature Programs.
If you would like to discuss specifics about contracting or get recommendations on LJIST offerings, please email us at info@ljist.com.
Program Content
While you can start with any offering we recommend Clients who are new to LJIST start with the Centering Relationships for Systems Change (CRSC) virtual workshop and follow with Stopping the Cycle of Oppression (SCO) workshop.
CRSC and SCO also have companion On-Demand Webinars available.
If resources allow, we also recommend our signature Transforming Relationships Program as an entry point into our foundational theory.
You can view our Suggested Learning & Healing Path document for more guidance.
Unfortunately, we cannot mix workshop content. Each workshop is designed to achieve its desired outcomes. We encourage you to contract for multiple workshops or sign up for the next public workshop when the other content will be covered.
LJIST virtual workshops are only offered virtually.
Our Transformational Programs are offered only as in-person retreats. Click here to learn more about these programs.

Getting Listened To (GLT) is a pre-requisite session for any of our Virtual Workshop(s). We provide a 5% discount on your hosted Virtual Workshop(s) when you schedule a corresponding GLT session.
Contact our office at info@ljist.com to access this discount.

Virtual Workshops: Tuesday-Thursday, 10 am - 4 pm Pacific

If a participant needs to miss a part of a virtual workshop and knows in advance, they can miss up to, but not more than, 2 hours over the three days. LJIST will send time-limited access to a recording of the time the participant misses. The participant agrees to watch the recording before returning the next day. If an emergency comes up and a participant needs to miss up to, but not more than 2 hours over the three days, LJIST will make a similar accommodation. If a participant will miss more than 2 hours—either planned or in case of emergency—they will not be allowed to continue with the workshop and will forfeit their registration. No refunds will be made.
Participants who miss part of an in-person retreat will not be allowed to continue on the next day and forfeit their registration. No refunds will be made.
Participant Orientation & Preparation Site
The Participant Orientation and Preparation Site (POPS) is your LJIST guide. Everything you need to know about the workshop or retreat, including logistics information, pre-work, homework, and evaluation can be found on your POPS.
Handouts and videos are only viewable on your POPS, not downloadable. While your POPS is open you have unlimited access to viewing these videos and reviewing the handouts. We encourage you to take full advantage of these resources for the time that you have access to them!
Participant worksheets needed during the session itself are downloadable. You can complete the worksheets in electronic form or print them to complete manually. We have also included some additional resources that are downloadable. Look for the “PDF” symbol to locate downloadable documents.
Participant Commitments
We have tried to keep the pre-work to 2-3 hours. Ideally, participants will have access for 10-14 days to complete the pre-work. Pre-work will consist of reviewing workshop logistic information, preparing and submitting participant introductions, watching videos and reviewing handouts, and completing pre-work reflections.
To make the most of our synchronous (when we are together during the live workshop) time, we have created a series of instructional videos and reflection activities for participants to complete asynchronistically (on their own time). Completing the pre-work will deepen the workshop experience. Not completing the pre-work may impact your workshop experience.
We have tried to keep the homework to a minimum (no more than an hour and in most cases, much less than that). Homework may consist of watching or re-watching an instructional video, reflecting on a question or two, and/or completing a worksheet.
There may be instructional videos we will ask you to watch that will cover content that will be built upon the next day. Not completing the homework may impact your workshop experience.
Please review our Waiver FAQ for detailed information about how we use the waiver and the covered media.
Virtual Workshop Technology
The Slack Workspace is an “after-hours” extension of the workshop community. The workspace is a way to build and sustain community virtually and a way for LJIST to answer questions that may come up for participants when they aren’t in the workshop itself. A LJIST team member will “monitor” a cohort's Slack channel at least once a day (except when LJIST Offices are closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
We use Zoom as our main meeting space. We ask everyone to have working audio and video for the workshop session. All registered participants will receive a Welcome Email 10-14 days before the workshop begins with login information. We will use “Break Out Rooms” as well.
Yes. We will record all workshops except for breakout rooms. This recording is not available to Clients or participants.
No workshop recordings will be made available.
Yes, all of our workshops have Closed Captioning through an automated AI service.
Workshops do not include interpretation. If Client would like simultaneous interpretation integrated into the event, Client is responsible for identifying and contracting with interpreter(s). LJIST will charge $650 to cover additional planning and coordination with the interpretation team. LJIST will provide Language Liberation and Interpretation Process and support handouts.
