Healing Together Gatherings

LJIST’s gift or dana Healing Together Gatherings (HTGs) embody our belief that sanctioned healing spaces are part of a just society. On the fourth Wednesday of most months, we apply our core healing practice of Constructivist Listening to a current topic. These 90-minute virtual sessions are open to anyone—new and returners alike. Pre-registration is required and will not be capped, but we are only able to admit the first 90 participants to the session. NOTE: HTGs are not available for purchase. Individuals and organizations are encouraged to share, promote, and return as often as they’d like.

Webinars

On-Demand Webinars allow individuals and groups immediate access to a LJIST teaching. Each On-Demand Webinar draws one hour of content from the Virtual Workshop of the same name. On-Demand Webinars are ideal for:

  • Previewing content of a workshop you might want to attend or bring to your organization
  • Bringing a LJIST teaching to a conference, organizational retreat, or other large gathering
  • Sharing learning with colleagues, friends, or family who weren’t able to attend a Virtual Workshop you attended
  • Deepening your individual learning

Getting Listened To

Getting Listened To (GLT) is our highly recommended prerequisite for Virtual Workshops. This three-hour session introduces participants to the LJIST Theory of Healing and Constructivist Listening practice: the foundation to all of our offerings. This content is so essential that all public workshop registrants as well as contracted clients can attend once for free. For a fee, individuals can sign up for public offerings as a stand-alone learning experience. Organizations can also host private sessions.

Virtual Workshops

LJIST’s Virtual Workshops provide deeper learning in a specific topic, with 9 hours of live content facilitated over 3 days and an additional 3+ hours of asynchronistic, individual learning. LJIST’s innovative virtual learning experiences are designed for collaboration, community, and play. They translate our core values into a powerful tool for social justice learning.

Social Justice Facilitation & Organizational Consulting

Guided by our core principles, LJIST offers a range of facilitation, planning, and consulting services. These offerings can stand alone or be paired with learning and healing, coaching, or other offerings. They are meant to address organizational needs informed by oppression theory and transformational racial healing.

Social Justice
Retainers

Social Justice Retainers

For Clients who want on-going support from LJIST with on-call consulting, customized facilitated sessions, focused systems change and organizational work, we offer our Social Justice Retainers. Retainers are available in 6-month or 1-year terms. They offer the greatest flexibility for support and the most partner benefits, including group discounts on public workshop registration and priority for our coaching availability.

Social Justice
Historical Journey

Social Justice Historical Journey

The LJIST Social Justice Historical Journey (SJHJ) guides organizations to reflect on their past and create a vision for the future. Using an equity lens and informed by oppression theory, this highly participatory and artfully facilitated visual timelining activity supports participants to see how the unhealed past isn’t really "past," but continues to replay and impede forward movement. This is a powerful pairing with LJIST’s Giving and Receiving Just Apologies Workshop and/or our Social Justice Action Plan.

Social Justice
Action Plan

Social Justice Action Plan

Building on an inclusive visioning process, LJIST’s Social Justice Action Plan (SJAP) supports organizations to name and realize a one-year plan for advancing their determined Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) vision. Each plan is customized to meet an organization wherever they are on their journey, while realistically assessing and maximizing available resources. Premised on the belief that any plan is only as meaningful as its implementation, LJIST’s process uncovers new energy and untapped leadership while providing personalized support to meet milestones along the way. While incredibly effective as a stand-alone experience, it’s optimal to precede the SJAP with LJIST’s Social Justice Historical Journey.

Keynotes

Nanci Luna Jiménez artfully applies LJIST's core teachings to a range of keynote topics. For each speaking engagement, Nanci personally meets with past and potential participants, taking the time to learn and understand their issues and concerns so that her message connects in meaningful ways. Using personal stories and interactive audience engagement, Nanci’s dynamic and compelling keynotes inspire your audience while introducing concepts of transformational healing for social justice.
